http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/axelrod-wont-rule-out-biden-being-dropped-tells-joke-instead_650073.html

President Barack Obama's closest political adviser, David Axelrod, would not rule out dropping Vice President Joe Biden from this year's presidential ticket when asked about the rumors this morning on MSNBC.

And then Axelrod went on to praise Biden effusively.

The article continues.....

If Obama were to drop Biden, one would expect the switch to be on the kindest possible terms. Might this effusive praise be part of a grand strategy to prepare the groundwork for dropping Biden?

This is absolutely hilarious.

Perhaps Biden is not such a great pick after all.

Compared to the youthful, attractive, intelligent, energetic, and charismatic Ryan, Biden is left standing at the bus stop.

If Romney picked Pat Robertson himself, you'd rambling how great choice it was too.

Oh no, it has to be a great pick like Ryan for me to render such accolades.

Obviously, Obama is not going to dump Biden.  It would make Obama look ridiculous and would make it appear like he had made a big mistake in the first place.

But the mere fact that Axelrod would not come right out directly and say that there is no way that Biden would be dropped from the ticket is telling in and of itself.

Axelrod had the opportunity to say that but he failed to do so.

That is hilarious.

It would make more sense for the Republicans to drop Romney.

It's nice to see someone on this forum with a good sense of humor.

the only rumors are coming from the right wing media. This is just conservatives trying to stir up trouble. Nothing wrong with that, but there is no actual "buzz" in the MSM in general here.

Not so.  Obama's chief henchman Axelrod himself refused to categorically rule out the possibity on MSNBC.

When asked, and when he had the chance to deny it, Axelrod did not rule out, at any time in the discussion, the possibility that Biden could be dropped from the ticket.

You show me anywhere Axelrod denied this possibility.

Joke my left foot.

The fact of the matter is, it would just be too embarassing to Obama and his campaign to dump Biden at this point in time.

If Barack puts Hillary on the ticket, and if they win, Barack had better watch his back and his knees.

Perhaps taking incoming for the Presidential candidate, but not saying outlandish things that make himself look like an idiot.
