So Huckabee will be the headliner on Monday now, I guess? lol.

Yes, my suggestion to Huckabee is not to talk about how people who think rape victims can't get pregnant should be put in charge of a state's Department of Health:

Rand Paul is supposed to be in prime time. Why aren't any tea party folk in the prime time speaking slots? As usual Romney and the establishment moderate/neocon faction seems to always get to have all the fun. You would think after 24 years of nominating moderates that their way of doing things just doesn't work.

The Hurricane is going to hit Tuesday night. That's the day they should have taken off.

Monday, however, is when the effects over Tampa Bay will be worst.

I'd  still rather have it then as opposed to having it when a cat 2 (or maybe cat 3 according to FOX news) is making landfall.

There's definitely a lot of chatter about it ending up stronger than had been initially expected.

No! Adding insult to injury, given Rand was scheduled to speak on Monday. Tongue

It'll most likely be either a tropical storm or a cat 1. There is a 60% chance that tropical storm force winds (>39 mph) will extend over Tampa. Of course you have to rely on this librul socialist communist government site for that.

Where are you getting your information from? Because I can't find any weather agencies who are projecting that. Everyone is saying it'll likely be at least a Category 2 when it makes landfall.

Isn't 100 mph a borderline cat 2?

So, when will Romney be nominated now ?

On Monday ? On Tuesday ? Later ?

Will they do anything at all tomorrow or just skip everything that was planned for tomorrow ?

The Friday before the Labor Day weekend? Ok, so they want maybe fifteen people to watch Romney's acceptance speech? What a disaster.

The GOP basically have got all the major probable 2016/2020 contenders as speakers....unlike the Democrats. Ugh.

Well, Issac might not affect Tampa that much. As for New Orleans, if I was Obama, I'd spend some serious time over the next couple of days making sure that things are much smoother than Katrina there. It could be making landfall the morning of August 29 there. Talk about deja vu.
