Among RV:

47-46 Obama (was 47-44 Obama in their June poll)

Obama's approval rating held steady at about an even split, with 49 per cent saying they approve of the way he's handling his job and another 49 per cent saying they disapprove.

The poll involved landline and cellphone interviews with 1,006 adults nationwide, including 885 registered voters, Results for the full sample have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.9, while it's 4.1 points for registered voters.

Independents back Romney by 11 points, 41-30%, according to the link provided. Romney leads on
the economy 48-44%,
jobs 47-43%, and
federabl budget deficit, 50/40%.

But Independents prefer Romney on the economy by a massive 46-27% margin.

Obama is preferred on handling
social issues, 52/35%,
Medicare, 48/42%
Among those who feel strongy about medicare, his lead is cut down to 49-44%.
