I think this will be a permanent Lean D through the rest of the campaign. I'll predict at five point victory at this point.

I don't want a senator who makes her 9 year old son ask for " Special Permission" to watch the Super Bowl.

I'm a strong supporter of Heinrich and think he'd be far better than Wilson, but what exactly does that have to do with her abilities or qualifications for being a United States senator? She was just concerned after the Super Bowl 2004 wardrobe incident. I think many parents would be concerned, whether you think they're being unreasonable or not.

This was before that. At the hearing about nipple-gate she said before the game her son asked if he could watch the game. Post-Janet I could see why a parent would worry. Until you hear that it was Paul McCartney who was on the next year.

Ah, okay, thanks for clarifying that. Did she actually mention "special permission" though? This could just be a kid asking out of habit, knowing he'd almost certainly be allowed to. Or he could have had homework or some other obligation that he needed to tend to.

Obviously a pressing issue in our times.

I agree.

Unfortunately, most NM GOP candidates simply aren't interesting and haven't figured out how to appeal to Albuquerque swing voters.  Heinrich isn't a good candidate at all but neither is Wilson.

To be quite blunt, I fail to see how that has any impact upon her qualifications as a politician, unreasonable or not.

Also, that's not a particularly inspiring lead for an internal.
