This will be a very effective strategy for Romney.

The country suddenly became racist in four years?  The same group that selected him, rejected him, if he is rejected.  Obama wins or loses re-election based on his job performance.

No, the country was just as racist in 2008, they were just desperate.  It was an unusual moment.  Now they're bitter and want scapegoats.

The problem, job performance is not that good (understatement), and expectations were high.   People might have been desperate in 2008, but they are a lot more desperate in 2012.

It is absurd to expect a president to change one's class condition.  Global capitalism clearly requires that nearly all American voters be impoverished, and neither candidate is opposing capitalism.

I agree with the first line.  Obama shouldn't have promised it

They all promise it, J.J., but their real function is to impoverish the serfs.  We have no anti-capitalist party.

2016 is poised to be a Republican year especially with Rubio destined to be the running mate of Paul Ryan, John Thune or [insert name of popular governor not named Chris Christie, who is FINISHED].

What the heck?  Buddy, you guys better put an Hispanic at the top of the ticket, not just as VP, in 2016, if you want to have a shadow of a chance.

GOP will likely use Rubio to stonewall immigation reform.

Dude, you had better loudly and enthusiastically embrace immigration reform right now and trumpet it throughout the next four years, if you want to gain even a few points with Hispanics.  If you stonewall it any further you'll lose an even bigger share in 2016.
