The undecided delegate is literally my hero. He must be so torn between Ron Paul and Mitt Romney, the poor guy.

Are they seriously chanting "We built it"?

I would be really concerned if a bunch of Libs weren't driven absolutely nuts by a GOP convention. Tongue

Maybe if the Herman Cain or Governor Rick Perry hadn't been so rudely snubbed.

What's wrong with Ayotte? She seems pretty good?

I like how all the Governor's are talking about their success in their states and are giving Romney two mentions at best.

Interesting fact: The RNC keynote speaker will not be talking about his successes as governor, because the unemployment rate in his state is currently almost 10%.

Guys, come on, Santorum wouldn't have won the nomination, even if he had talked about how much he loved hands instead of how much he hated JFK/condoms.

I just find the entire idea of masses of people coming together to excitedly cheer for Mitt Romney, of all people, bizarre and unrealistic. Surely the writers have jumped the shark once and for all now.

So, I WAS streaming Ann's speech on 3G from my campsite. Until a bear came and literally knocked the tree down right in front of me. So I missed the end. What I saw of it, though, was absolutely fantastic.

Oh god, is this more Republican "outreach" to the African-American community?

One thing you can say about Republicans: almost all of them don't think it's okay to pelt black people with peanuts and call them animals.

Is anyone else getting tired of the "Obama says you didn't build that" rhetoric?

Don't worry, the more the GOP dwells on it, the worse they lose.

Yeah, it's incredibly petty and small. As numerous commentators have pointed out, it would be like if the Democrats based on their convention one of Mitt's many gaffes. Can you imagine if the theme of the first night of the DNC was "We don't like to fire people"?

People should re-listen to or re-read Obama's acceptance speech from 2008. He's criticized a lot for running on lofty but empty rhetoric, but that was a very specific and detailed explanation of the policies he would pursue as president and why he would pursue them.

The past two days of this convention, meanwhile, have been right-wing platitudes and impossible promises, just like the rest of Romney's campaign.
