Nicki isn't on the "gangsta" end of her label, for the record.

For example take this song of her:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bass

It was ranked 3rd in the US in the charts, but only ranked in the 40s in Austria or Sweden.

Maybe her target audience are the English speaking countries.

Easily the worst - and trashiest - "artist" in the mainstream right now.

Then again, I did the research and it was just one line ryhme about lazy people ruining the economy. And then during the year she tweeted that she was paying a lot in taxes but saying it would be ok if poor people were able to get free medicine. If she is a Republican, its because Democrats are too moderate to support her sentiment and Republicans offer practical solutions to herself.

Basically the opposite of a Southern White Guy voting for Clinton because Bush41/Dole were too wishy washy on abortion and decided to vote on the guy who would give them an easier time at work.

If I had a choice between being stupid and picking a candidate just based on what a star thinks about them, then I'd rather be stupid.

The two are not mutually exclusive.

Wait, wait...people thought the endorsement was genuine? Haha.

Even if it was, it makes sense that she is backtracking. As many know, I have a very "urban" music taste. After her "endorsement," some radio personalities were discussing Tweets from people saying that she ought to be killed. Now nevermind the fact that those statements should have been disavowed immediately. Nevermind the fact that someone with even a shred of decency should have rhetorically asked, "She's not allowed to have a different opinion?" No, that isn't important, you see. What was important was the fact that she was "being sarcastic." That's what the personalities said to their audience.

Yes - you don't understand politics at all, KP.  A strong response to your party is only reasonable, given what they are doing to blacks, poors, etc.  To speak to a victim of this kind of thing about 'free speech' or 'differences of opinion' is simply offensive.

I'm glad Republicans didn't seize this while they had the chance, and the condescension/cluelessness of the liberal criticisms convinced me why I'm not a Democrat. Good news all around!

Surely she's not the first celebrity to receive death threats for her opinions; I think it's more a psychological thing than an ethical one.

What usually takes place with these quotes is that they're deleted after those who typed them are flooded with hate mail accusing their heartlessness. No time to check right now, so feel free to call me out on that.

No love lost when the Dixie Chicks were derided though for coming out against the Iraq War and President Bush. LOL, anyways everyone knew Nicki was joking her next line was that she was chilling in Miami with a zombie. Sorry, but she doesn't like Romney either lol
