God, as much as I love Scoop, and consider him one of the greatest Democrats of the 20th century, I can't vote against Teddy.

outside of a few issues (which must really matter to you), These guys had nothing in common?

Really?  Scoop represented the best of the Cold War Democratic tradition - liberal on domestic issues, and a hawk on foreign policy.  He and Kennedy were very similar, except when it came to foreign policy.  Don't try to correct me on Ted and Scoop.
