Well he's better than most Jets fans think he is, but I don't know about "great".

Jets can't move the ball unless the refs move it for them.

Jets were terrible in every facet of the game.  We did nothing from 1st qrtr on, on either side of the ball.

That was embarrassing. We need to beat the Dolphins before losing two straight.

To be fair to the Jets, that was a much more important game for the Steelers than it was for the Jets.  The Steelers had to win that game, the Jets just needed it.  Losing on the road to a good team isn't the end of the world.  Ya better win that game next week in Miami though 'cause your schedule ain't getting any easier after that.

Our schedule post-bye looks really easy but I expect to lose to the 49ers, Texans, and the Pats once. Losing Revised really hurt.

Except, Miami is coming off an unexpected, but nevertheless welcome win against Oakland.  Miami is not going to be as easy as people think.

I must say I am very intrigued by the Dallas Cowboys.  Only they could go in to the toughest place for them to play (New York) and not only win, but dominate the game and then turn around the next week going to a rookie quarterback's house on a team that has a lot of questions heading into the season and lay an egg...

Bravo, Dallas... Bravo!!

Indeed he is. Our receivers are somewhat disappointing though, Crabtree and Vernon aside. Without those drops, Smith would have been 28/31. That is just an unreal level of accuracy.

Where do we all stand on giants/bucs "victory" formation issue?  I say the Bucs were in the right here.  If you're a score or less from winning and there is still time on the clock, eff the team with the lead and go balls out trying to get a turnover.  The leading team doesn't get to decide when the game is over, the clock does.  Eli (who I like) and the rest of the Giants (who I enjoy watching beat the Patsies in the Super Bowl) are being giant pansies about this.

Agreed.  Last minute turnovers have decided many a game.

The Victory formation issue is stupid, because there's no way to really enforce any prohibition on running the clock out. If we get rid of the victory formation, then the QB will just take the snap and "trip", or bootleg out and slide once a defender gets within two yards of him. The same thing will happen anyway.

I heard one guy say that the clock should stop if the offense fails to advance the ball, I'm not sure about that.  My issue isn't with the victory formation itself, it's offenses crying about the defense still caring.

The Cardinals' next five opponents are the Eagles, Dophins, Rams, Bills, and Vikings. The only road games are in St. Louis and Minneapolis. Arizona could easily start the season 7-0, which is insane.

Given that division,  they may never look back.  Wink

Let's not forget that they still need to play the best team in the league twice after that.
