Quite the waste of money to make this.

The election is over two years away. Don't they have better things to do?

The Florida GOP should be focusing on two things right now:

1. Running the state of Florida.
2. Winning the state in the presidential election this year.

NOT the next gubernatorial election!

It'd be nice if they actually did that.

That would be a horrible election, Rick Scott vs Charlie Crist.

They have run the state... right into Rick Scott's protection racket. You know how he's required those drug tests for welfare recipients and forced them to pay for it? Well, guess who's administering the tests? A bunch of (or possibly just one) company/companies that used to be owned by Governor Scott and are now owned by his wife.

There is absolutely no way Crist can survive a Democratic primary.

There is absolutely no way Crist can survive a Democratic primary.

Former Gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink announces her candidacy for the Democratic nomination, followed shortly by former Governor Charlie Crist, joining Nan Rich among the Democratic candidates. Come election day, the liberal and South Florida vote is split among Sink and Rich, with conservative Democrats, teachers, African-Americans and Tampa Bay residents voting overwhelmingly for Crist, powering him to victory over the divided liberals.

Unless another Democrat similar to Crist enters the race. Kendrick Meek running would be ironic.

Someone of Crist's statute? Buckhorn and Graham have denied interest, and Rod Smith doesn't exactly strike me as being at Crist's caliber (he was Sink's running mate), and he also has a 25 year old son who's battling a rare form of cancer. Dyer's a bit more well-known, but still a relative nobody compared to Crist (and the election fraud thing...). Brown's not developed enough. Your only real options are Pam Iorio, Bud Chiles, or Bill Nelson, and Iorio isn't running and Nelson isn't leaving the Senate. Florida Democrats want to actually win an election, and when you've only got one winning candidate, you go with them.

I can say with just all the certainty in the world that I'll vote for Charlie Crist in any Democratic primary, and any general election, were he to run.
