There's no apparent link between the thread title and your post?

The problem is that you are unable to perceive what is rather obvious.

Obama has consistently been sucking up to Islamic loonies, and has repeatedly disrespected Israel, maintaining that such policies make the United States more respected in the Islamic world.

Facts indicate that this is NOT the case!

America still does whatever Israel tells us to do, which is why it's not respected in the Islamic world.

You really should look at facts rather than fantasies.  Example:

White House declines Netanyahu request to meet with Obama

The White House declined Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's request on Tuesday to meet U.S. President Barack Obama during a UN conference in New York at the end of the month.

It's because they already have a meeting between Hillary and Netanyahu scheduled for that same day.  Why would they hold the same meeting twice in one day? If Bush had declined a meeting with the Israeli PM after Rice had met with him, you wouldn't fuss.  If any other country in the world was sent to the Secretary of State for a meeting instead of the President, you wouldn't fuss.

The editorialized facts you post are almost facts, but still in the realm of fantasy because you infer things that aren't there on top of it.

President Obama has invited Egypt's new president to meet him in New York when the United Nations General Assembly convenes in September, an administration official confirmed to The Hill.

http://thehill.com/blogs/global-affairs/middle-east-north-africa/236649-report-obama-invites-new-egyptian-president-morsi-to-visit-us

So, Obama can meet with a Moslem fundamentalist, but not the Prime Minister of Israel.  Hmm.

As opposed to not meeting with the president of a country of eighty-two million people? You want him to discard that in favor of meeting again with somebody he's met a number of times? It's not like Obama passed up a ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY to meet Netanyahu or something, you know.

I'd point out that Morsi does not actually appear to be a 'fundamentalist' in the context of the way that term is usually used for Islamist politicians, but there'd be no point, since you're you and he's a brown.

Guys, why are we responding to CARLHAYDEN? We know he's either a troll or a woefully misinformed person. Feeding his threads helps no one.

I gotta say that the title threw me off though; for once it wasn't indicative of rabid partisanship.

Not being a bigot isn't "sucking up to Islamic loonies."  And so f#cking what if Obama "disrespects" Israel?  Must every president bow to this tiny country that's smaller than Armenia and more than a thousand miles away?  How many times has Israel done something for you that warrants bowing down to it and getting your panties in a bunch to defend it?

They worship Apollo, and serve Mahound/But he saved them not from the fate they found.

I really hope the Chanson de Roland has been translated better and less cheesily since the last time I read it.
