Hmm, what was the last time someone succesfully assassinated a US Ambassador? Seems like these Benghazi salafists are entering a rather select club.

Everyone understands why--a bunch of pissed fundie Muslims heard about a film critical of Islam and rioted. Obama isn't defending them.

So why did he (supposedly) say he "understands?" Someone please fill me in on whether or not he actually said it. I'm only getting bits and pieces of the story as I'm traveling.

From what I've read Romney was referring to a press statement issued by a besieged Cairo Embassy to calm the mob outside condemning the movie in question for inciting hatred. Obama hasn't said he understood the Benghazi assassins.
