Kind of wish Feinstein and Boxer would retire soon so that California could have some "young blood" in their Senate representation.

Yeah, Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom need to become Senators while they're still young and hot.

Presumably only one of them will be in the Senate; the other will be Governor.

Surprisingly close considering that Feinstein won by about 30% last time, I think. Of course, this means absolutely nothing. We all know how this one will end.

Feinstein was a horrible person for running again and hogging this seat. There's plenty of young, attractive Democratic stars in CA that need a chance to shine.

Newsom is probably waiting for the Governor's mansion in 2014 or 2018. Harris would have been the likely pick. Her performance was a little underwhelming at the DNC, however. Maybe when Feinstein (hopefully) retires in 2018 there will be a shining star that's shown up on the field.

I'd definitely prefer a senator Harris, but not at Boxer's expense.
