It's becoming pretty clear, at least for the time being, Obama has pulled ahead a bit.

Here is another poll from ARG that has Obama up 2 in Colorado, 49 to 47. http://www.americanresearchgroup.com/pres2012/CO12.html

I'm sorry, but Colorado's been lean Obama since November 2008.

Remember that SurveyUSA will also release a CO poll this week.

I guess for the Saturday or Sunday edition of the Denver Post, like in previous years.

I guess the KY poll from SurveyUSA will also be released on the weekend for the Louisville Courier Journal, like in the past.

Maybe their OR poll will be released tonight or tomorrow.

Maybe someday, Kentucky will be polled by a nonpartisan pollster.

SurveyUSA proved what side they're on when they put out that press release that got Ernie "Hey Bert" Fletcher "elected."

In 2003, they put out a press release just before the "election" claiming Fletcher had already won, just because he was leading in their polls that had horrendously bad internals. Media outlets of course repeated the general theme of this press release.

You mean this ?

Actual result of the election: 55-45 Fletcher

I call that pretty accurate ...

Yes, that's what I meant. They said Fletcher had already won, even though the "election" hadn't taken place yet.

It's pretty common for pollsters to make catchy headlines. Don't know what's your point ...

Because a left-wing polling organization has the president up by a handful while he's experiencing a post-convention bounce?  The ARG poll shows otherwise, and I suspect that Survey USA will show a Romney lead this week.

It means SurveyUSA pretty much lost its credibility as a nonpartisan outfit years ago.

No, if this were the case the headline would read like this:

But it does not, it's just a catchy way of describing the findings of their final poll.

ARG is a joke pollster. We know you're a right-wing troll who probably has lived in Colorado Springs all his life and hasn't ever read a book, but if you're going to post on this forum try to have a basic understanding of what you're talking about.

I think judging a pollster harshly on a headline that was supported by their numbers and turned out to be an accurate prediction says more about your own objectivity than SUSA's.

The same goes for anyone who says "PPP/Rasmussen, subtract four from Obama/Romney" when the numbers don't say what they want to hear.

You don't know Bandit? He thinks Kentucky elections are rigged when Democrats don't win. (Always.)

Mondale, next time you get in the mood to call someone a hack or troll (which, as far as I can tell, is about every 5 seconds), read this link: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=159141.0.

Being a hack has nothing to do with your opinions.

It has everything to do with how you express them.
