Actually, I'm waiting for official clarification this time. Sorry, Gass, but if we allow this, each turn will drag on for much longer than it needs to, and I really don't see any reason why once someone has had the chance to go first they should be allowed to deny someone else their choice of territories - it creates an awkward situation in which everyone will wait until the last minute to make their turn  so that it can't be overturned before Spamage has initiated the next turn.

What does everyone else think?

Yeah, I don't think we should allow this...

So me, Nix, Hagrid, and Hugh agree that shouldn't be allowed, while only Gass has spoken in favor of his way. One more person will be a majority of players in favor of Nix's position, so speak up. Tongue

Less turns can take away from more turns, but changing after the initial selection is murky, and I don't support it.

So that's 6-1 in favor in Nix (out of 9 players.) Re-pick your counties, Gass.

How can we make a new rule ex post facto? I wouldn't be opposed to having that be a rule in future rounds, but I did nothing wrong. Also it was Ampere that violated our agreement that we had.

I also don't see why you had to go against our agreement.

I also don't see why you had to go against our agreement.

That should be obvious: The more hawkish Alternating Front defeated the Direct Union in the latest round of parliamentary elections. Edison the Undying was left with limited options. Also, it's been a while since his brine was last changed.
Sorry guys Tongue but I'm still not going to be able to return til tomorrow evening for sure Tongue. On the argument I'm inclined to agree with Nix....

Yeah, give me the three back in Georgia.

Nix: I will give you all of the counties that I have in Georgia and South Carolina for the counties you just took in New York and New Jersey. Deal?

Sorry lol, I was a little wasted when I made that post. I mostly just didn't have the concentration to read through the details. I don't have time to do it now, but I'll get back to y'all in a bit.

Just thought I'd pop in to apologize for last night's bluntness. Tongue

Just finished map. Update soon. If you haven't posted your counties it's too late. I'm 90% sure the maps going to be completely wrong following Nix and Gass's changes Tongue

Rule added- No changing county orders following making them.

Homelycooking- I might have messed up but I believe some of the counties you chose are not continuous. This is a warning so they're dark gray and you can annex the connecters this turn only in order to receive them.... Tongue. For EVERYONE next time this happens the counties that are incorrect will be ignored.

Spamage, you've given me Wayne and Lewis in TN on your map instead of Lawrence and Maury. Davidson and Williamson (in grey) are thereby connected.

The following counties have moved by plebiscite to join the Republic of New Arcadia:

Clayton County, GA (pop. 259,000) (to connect to Henry County)
Harrison County, MS (pop. 187,000)
Jackson County, MS (pop. 140,000)
Camden County, MO (pop. 44,000)
Brazoria County, TX (pop. 313,000)
