I came up with someone, but I guess the early bird gets the worm. So you will never know. Tongue

Was this person a Senator from ND, SD, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, or Illinois?

I'm beginning to think you answered one of your questions wrong - we are headed to the null set here. Tongue

He said yes to his being in the Midwest if you used a broad definition. You don't need a broad definition to place Illinois in the Midwest (assuming Ryan were in the House). His qualified answer  narrowed the  states in play to but four max: Oklahoma, Kentucky, WV - and most particularly Missouri. The guy is not a Dem, still alive, over 65, not currently in office, and served in both the House and the Senate. That equals the null set unless I missed something. Smiley

Ok, then your broad definition answer was misleading. KS is all Midwest. Naughty!
