I'm confused; are you having sex with this person? Or just taking her to ridiculously expensive dinners?
You are confused in that you think those are separate things in Simfan's mind.

Sure, if you think being considered gay is insulting.  Perhaps you're still in middle school, I don't know.

It was of course not meant as an insult.

It was just that I thought Joe was gay, because I think I once clicked on the picture thread and saw him on a picture with his dad who was holding a sign on which it said: "I'm proud of my GAY son". Or something like that. Or it was a dream ... And now he has a hot wife ? That's really strange ...

Oh yes, that was me. A long time ago, actually. I had found a picture of a man who looked like Joe being picked up at the airport by his dad who was holding a "proud of my gay son!" sign or something. And so I posted it. Mystery solved.

National Enquirer?

For your own sake, Tender, please go back to posting polls.
They get stuff (at least this kind of stuff) right often enough to not be totally ignored, but obviously should be taken with quite a bit of salt.

mmmm salt

A bit of salt? More like the entire Danakil Depression.

I found the first three most funny:

1. Bushie will lose his job.
2. Bushie will get another call center job.
3. Bushie will not lose weight.
4. There will be myriad threads about the trends of random counties.
5. The majority of "women" on here will continue to have penises.
6. People will be dissatisfied with the results of the Oscars.
7. Old people will be confused by simple technology.
8. North and South Korea won't care much for each other.
9. Jews and Arabs won't care much for each other.
10. Northern states and Southern states won't care much for each other.
11. The rich will get richer.
12. The poor will procreate.
Same as it ever was....

I don't know if Germany has a political satire show like Private Eye or SNL
It's called the SPD.

No, because... well that's not how NI works. Actually the funniest bit was not what Lewis quoted, it was asking whether the UUP was a Catholic unionist party which to say the least, is a bit odd.

Don't Catholics who aren't explicitly Nationalist tend to vote Alliance?

Maybe some, but I think Alliance tends to do best in Protestant areas while very few Catholics vote for them (at least first preferences). Yet a decent portion of the Catholic population isn't explicitly nationalist (though Catholic unionists virtually don't exist). Are they just moderate SDLP voters for the most part?
