This is a complete right-wing push poll, and yet Obama is still leading in Ohio. Hot damn, there's really no way on earth to give Romney a lead there.

It isn't a push poll; you'd never release the questions.  OH is line with the rest of the polling.

My guess is that FL is in the MOE as well, though probably with Obama leading.

Why isn't Mason-Dixon being hired to poll Florida?

I have such vivid memories from 2008 of Sam Spade saying that the Vorlon said to only trust Mason-Dixon.

Didn't Mason-Dixon say Sink was going to beat Scott in Florida in 2010 though?

Asking horse-race and approval questions after issue questions, as they appear to have done, is very poor practice.

I have issues with their question choice and wording as well. The fact that their questions focused entirely on Obama, specifically negative questions, is a red flag.

It doesn't meet the AAPOR or NCPP definition of a push poll, but it is definitely poorly designed.

You gotta love a poll that opens with questions like "How concerned are you about Islamic terrorism by American born Muslims?" and "If Iran attains nuclear weapons do you believe Iran would arm terrorists who would use the nuclear weapons to attack the United States?", then asks approval ratings questions about Netanyahu and Morsi, and only then gets to the presidential horserace.

It's probably who contracted them.

His Ohio numbers looked reasonable.

True. And actually Obama scored pretty decently on the foreign policy questions, even though they were all framed in the most alarmist and terrifying terms possible. Score one for voters sticking to their guns in the face of a pretty blatant attempt to sway them.

I really don't think it was an attempt to sway, but I'd suspect it was either commissioned by a national defense PAC or a pro-Israel PAC.

It doesn't really matter who commissioned it since McLaughlin & Co is just another group of right-wing trolls...

It might not have been an overt attempt to sway, but it will have that effect regardless. That Obama retains a lead in Ohio after these questions should make the Romney campaign we their pants

The Ohio numbers were in line with most of the other Ohio numbers.  The questions made no difference.

In line? LoL. Obama is leading by 5 to 7 points in other-than-Caddell polls.

The range is 1 to 7 points.  Caddell is right in the middle.  Check the polling results prior to posting please.

Yes, there are two polls showing a 1-point lead for Obama. Rasmussen (the same who has Romney leading in Iowa) and ARGghh.. Other polls range from 4 to 7 points.

And those other two are not major ones.  The numbers here appear to be right in the middle.

McLauglin & Accociates is an internal pollster for the RNC.

Enough said.
