In 2020, when CA is D+15 and TX is R+15 and they have at least 95 EV between them, the electoral college will look like a very, very bad idea.

Field polls California periodically, usually every other month or so.  That's all they poll - California.  Don't hate states that have regular polling.  There should be more of those, not less.
