If you're working 40 hrs a week and live with parents, you should have enough money saved to buy a car, gasoline, and insurance. Doesn't have to be anything fancy. You'll feel much more independant once you can transport yourself.

I think they pay $2.13/hour in restaurants in Ohio..


It's also customary to tip. If you earn less than the full minimum wage, the restaurant must make up the difference.
