Since Huntsman hates Romney; and Romney hates Huntsman; there is almost no chance that Ryan would ever join a Huntsman ticket.
Ryan will need to keep Romney's circle of donors and supporters, especially the Wall Street donors on his side.
Huntsman is a maverick, and lone mavericks are only beholden to their own personal wealth and wants, and usually piss off a lot of people supposedly on his side. McCain is an example of a wealthy maverick, who has a voter turnout of 1 person, himself.
