... and the rest of Mark Murray's twitter feed is already filled with complaints about oversampling Democrats.

I've already sent a counter-tweet on how accurate Marist was in 2008.

Marist didn't poll NC and NV in 2008.

But exactly 4 years ago, Marist also polled NH:

http://maristpoll.marist.edu/wp-content/misc/Battleground2008/NH080924.pdf

Obama led by 6 among likely voters back then.

So we have a good comparison between the upcoming NH poll and the one from exactly 4 years ago.

So Ironic that people who don't trust polls this year cite Exit Polls to try to bolster their case for why the polls are wrong.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that NH is tight, nearly as tight as NC, while NV has a comfortable 6-7% lead for Obama.

Romney needs a game-changer in these polls.  OH, FL, VA, WI, CO, and IA were all brutal for him in the NBC polls the last couple weeks.  Another brutal result and NBC will have concluded their tour of the nine swing states and had Obama ahead in every single one.  And Romney doesnt nedd to have just 3 or 4 of them; more like 5 or 6.

I'd be surprised if Obama didn't have a lead in all three of them, though apparently New Hampshire and North Carolina are the closest states at the moment.

I don't believe NH will be that close. There hasn't been a reliable poll out of there in quite some time. It would be hard to imagine that Obama's national bounce didn't affect there.

Yea, read somewhere this week that pollsters for both campaigns have identified New Hampshire and North Carolina as the two closet states. Guess we will see if that shows up in the Marist poll.

Nevada numbers look a little too close for comfort, but the rest are good.

Yeah, I'm happy with those New Hampshire and North Carolina numbers but Nevada looks bizarrely close there for some reason.

Yeah, only NV is bucking the trend... but I'd want to read the cross tabs in these before I make a judgement.

He's doing better than I expected in New Hampshire, but worse than I expected in Nevada.  Still, leading in all 3 states is good news for Obama.
