Sounds about right.

New Mexico's days as a swing state are over.

Colorado and Nevada won't be either by 2016 if the GOP doesn't change something.

Maybe we can give back New Mexico to Mexico, and not worry about that state anymore.

Let's throw in Oklahoma too, to sweeten the deal.

Nah, we should gerrymander the US boundries to the Republicans.  Honestly, I'm only kidding.  New Mexico is not in play anymore.

This is better yet, merge north Arizona with Utah, north New Mexico with Colorado, and Oklahoma with Kansas. Fix part of Nevada border and it's complete.  Part of the America/Mexico treaty act of 2030.  The rest of it is too hot for the United States.

What about California and its massive debt??

Serouisly, It wasn't that long ago that New Mexico was Republican tilting. Who would have thought that North Carolina and Wisconsin would be contested in this day and age? Those have been Republican and Democratic respectfully mainstays for a long time.

Save for the panhandle, Oklahoma was never Mexican.

It was Spanish Louisianan once, though.
