MA: Mideast Superior Judge Confirmation for TJ in Cleve (Confirmed)

Pursuant to The Mideast Third Constitution, Article II, Section 2, Clause 2, this body will now hold a confirmation hearing for TJ in Cleve, who has been nominated by Governor Tmthforu94 to fill the position of Superior Court Judge.

The nominee will have 24 hours to make an opening statment, after which time a period of questions shall commence.

TJ has been a committed citizen to this region for a long time. It was certainly a relief for me to have someone as active and interested in this game as TJ to have interest in the position.

I strongly urge the Assembly to confirm this nominee. If anyone has specific questions for me regarding my appointment of TJ, I'd be happy to answer them.

I believe I can serve as a knowledgeable and qualified judge having served both as an Assemblyman and a Senator previously. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.

If presented with such a case, I would strive to be as impartial as possible. A judge's job in a situation where the legality of a law is questioned is to determine whether or not a law can be passed under our constitutions, both federal and regional, not whether or I view it a good law. As for a suit on abortion, I would listen to the arguments to make such a determination as I would under any other case. The Mideast Constitution is very specific about the powers of the Superior Court and I will follow it.
