June 5, 2010: Ronald Reagan awakes from the dead in Simi Valley, California. The nation reacts with according shock and amazement, horror for some, jubilation for others.

June 6, 2010: President Barack Obama gives a speech from the Oval Office announcing this incredible event.

August 12, 2010: Test results conclude that the former President is fully alive, and not, as some fear "a zombie". He is in full health, equivalent to that of a 62-year old, and shows no signs of Alzheimers.

August 16, 2010: President Barack Obama meets President Reagan at the White House. President Reagan tells Obama he intends to campaign for Republican candidates in the midterm elections, but will not attack him directly.

November 2, 2010: Major Republican victory in the midterms. Republicans win the Senate 51-49, winning in Colorado, Delaware, Nevada, and Washington and other places. In the House, the GOP wins 256-193, winning in addition AZ 8, CA 11, GA 2 ,IN 2, IA 1, KY 6, MI 9, MO 3, NY 1, NY 23, PA 4, PA 12, VA 11, and WA 2. In gubernatorial elections, Tom Foley, John Robitaille, Tom Emmer, Bill Brady, and Brian Dubie win as well. Grassroots support for Reagan campaigning helps.

Feburary 2, 2011: The Supreme Court, through a bizarre loophole, rules that Ronald Reagan can both run again, as he had been re-born, but also meets the age limit, being 99 years old and not eight months old. He puts down his age as "62".

February 6, 2011: Ronald Reagan announces his candidacy for the Presidency. He will face no major opposition and will clinch 92.7% of the primary vote.

Who will his running mate be??? No one else will arise from the dead, unfortunately, and George H.W. Bush has ruled out serving again.

To the shock of the republicans (and anger of the tea party) everywhere, he picks Dick Lugar as his VP.

Who would win the remaining 7.3% of the primary vote? Paul I'm guessing?

Keep this going, it's looking good!
