No one from your party has declared, which is why I requested Labor's endorsement in the previous party thread.

I do remember that now. Since we've had a rather late transition prior to this election, we'll most likely do endorsements in the next couple of days - after we determine who all the candidates will be for each seat.

Sorry, I just got a job. I'd like to keep it for a little while and see what I can do.

This. I've got no desire to run against Nix, because he's been an excellent governor, and will be an excellent senator.Besides, I'd get crushed.

I would like to keep on being Legislator for the South before taking any higher responsibility. Plus I just finished moving, so I'm still in a bit of a cardboard wonderland at my place, so it will still be a few days before I can spend more time here.

I would like to formally open the floor for regional and federal legislative & executive endorsements to be suggested. This period will last for 48 hours. Candidates and Labor members alike may suggest individuals to be considered - in the case of Laborites, individuals running for office in your specific region.

Following this period, we will have a 72 hour endorsement vote for regional legislative and executive endorsements. Pursuant to the by-laws, we will hold the Senate endorsements separately, with an additional 72 hour endorsement vote beginning immediately following the end of the regional endorsement vote.

The time periods for these votes will be outlined in the main post.

I would also like to remind Laborites that candidates only have two days to declare for a regional Senate seat and appear on the ballot. If a candidate misses this window, the only option will be a write-in campaign.

Apologies for my recent inactivity here, applying to college is needlessly time consuming! Wink

If our party wishes to run a candidate for NE senate, so be it. But I have already stated my support for Governor Nix, and there is where my support shall stay, at the moment. Here is a list of NE endorsements:

Senate:
Nix

Governor:
Scott

Assembly:
Our party candidates

Of course, others running for assembly might request our endorsement, but at the moment I am not aware of any that have.

Are you endorsing anyone in the Pacific Senate race?  No Labor candidate is running there and it's expected to be very competitive.

While I'm not a member of the Labor Party, I'm humbly asking for your party's support in the Pacific Senate election. It's going to be a tough race, but if I do make it into the Senate I think there's a great amount of common ground between me and the Labor Party, and I'll look forward to working with Labor Senators on the issues we both value - preserving and protecting our social safety net, improving our healthcare system, protecting our schools from vicious cuts, and protecting the rights of our labor unions.

I will of course answer any questions you may have, and thanks for your time! Smiley

Redalgo's not running for reelection, so we need someone to hold that seat. Hawk?

Also, I'm down with Oakvale.
