I would be willing to help a bit with the platform. You'd almost certainly need to get more people involved in the process though; my views aren't exactly representative of the party's as a whole!

I concur completely. It also helped quite a bit in trying to complete the recent constitutional convention in the Midwest. Votes can really be great for helping one establish where the center of a group's balance lies on a broad range of issues.
