Apparently, the Libyan PM has been voted out by a vote of no-confidence.

Honestly, guys, I fear for our progress in Libya. I'm afraid that an Islamist, or at least anti-Western candidate will replace Abu Shagur.

Can you tell us more? Why he was dismissed, on which issue, by a coalition of representatives of what tendency. Because, AFAIK, there's nothing inherently islamist about dismissing a PM. Tongue

Abushagur was appointed with Islamist support against Jibril.

Seems to be issues of regionalism/representation mostly, besides that he was initially elected over jibril with the assistance of the Islamists I believe,

Sorry. I fixed the link. Tongue

I think he had trouble forming a cabinet, especially with many want the new cabinet to reflect Libya's tribalism.

Abu Shagur was fairly liberal, by Middle Eastern standards. I just fear that this could open up a new "can of worms" should the next PM also fail to assemble a cabinet.

So Libya is not actually one tribe?
