I'd argue that Hillary Clinton would have done much worse than John Kerry. But in hindsight she was more to the right at the time.

President George W. Bush (R-TX) / Vice President Dick Cheney (R-WY) - 300 EVs, 51.7%
Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) / Senator Evan Bayh (D-IN) - 238 EVs, 46.3%

I do think that Bush wouldn't be able to get all of the blue wall but would crack Wisconsin.

Yeah even with sky high approval ratings, the country was much too divided for any form of a real landslide to occur either way

I don't think Bush would've won all of Maine. Maine was Kerry+9. I'd probably narrowly give him the 2nd congressional district though.
