It seems that since the debate ended, the only people releasing polls besides PPP, are either crappy (Gravis Marketing & ARG) or have a huge bias (McLaughlin and Rasmussen). So where is everybody else? AP, Mason Dixon, CNN, NBC, NYT, ABC, The Washington Post, etc.

PPP are pretty good, and have released a couple of polls. The Romney +2 nationally seems about spot on for the current climate, alas.

Think about something else once.

This whole election cycle:
-Why aren't the majors getting into the battleground states? It seems as though its only crap hole organizations like Gravis, ARG, and $hitty newspapers and university polls.
-Why aren't some of the top pollsters out there doing the quantity they used to? Like: CNN, AP, Mason Dixon, etc.?

I suspect the other pollsters are in the field now, probably doing polls of Mon/Tue/Wed for release Thursday (day of VP debate).  I know that NBC/Marist/WSJ will release state polls for FL OH VA on Thursday.

Well Rasmussen isn't "hugely" biased.  CNN, NYT, WP, and NBC/Marist are second tier polls.

In some ways, you can compensate for know biases.

Sounds like the refrain from a country song.

Anyway, Vorlon's a "good" pollter, and he posts here.  Or used to.  You could probably ask him.  As far as I can tell, the "good" pollsters are still out there, cranking out good polls.  If you're expecting a new poll every day, then it's not the "good" pollsters you should be looking to, since they know that you can't get a "good" poll in a day.

Chill, man.  There have been many good polls, and there will be many more.  But don't forget that there's only one that really matters.  It's the best poll of all, and it will happen soon enough.

I suspect that the Republican party and GOP front groups. the latter having deep pockets, have commissioned right-leaning pollsters to poll just about everything. Quality matters far less than does the narrative that President Obama has suddenly lost.
