Terrific, Obama's collapse is even bringing down the senate candidates now.

Changes from previous MassInc poll - Brown +6, Warren - -2

So perhaps the undecideds are moving towards Brown after all.

Eh. Warren's position is still relatively strong.

(Yes, I know this is a Democrat song. But it just works so perfectly in association with Brown, hopefully, coming to lead the polls again.)

Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
Let us sing a song of cheer again
Happy days are here again

Altogether shout it now
There's no one
Who can doubt it now
So let us tell the world about it now
Happy days are here again

Your cares and troubles are gone
There'll be no more from now on,

Happy days are here again
The skies above are clear again
So, let us sing a song of happy cheer again,

Happy, happy, happy days
Are here again!

You do know that your own state was one of the most "socialist" (by your criteria anyway) states not too long ago, right? And that the economic leftism it had helped turn it from a neo-feudal hellhole to a functioning state, right?

In a low turn out election, Brown won this seat cause he talked about the seat belonging to Teddy Kennedy not to the public. Once he got into office, MA is very clear he continued to block the prez agenda by voting to extend the Bush tax cuts, very much so in the manner of Coleman and Smith moderate GOP males, voting to extend Bush tax cuts in Blue state get voted out of office

The special election that sent Brown to Washington had the same approximate turnout as the 2010 general election that sent Deval Patrick back to Beacon Hill. Massachusetts took that special election seriously.

It was a high turnout special election, but well below turnout for a presidential election, which is what matters. I sound like a broken record on this but it's still relevant that Brown got the same number of votes as McCain did when he was losing the state by a sizable margin. He's going to have to win the votes of lots of Obama voters who sat out both the special election and Patrick's mid-term election.

I honestly don't think it will in most places - though MA would be the most likely to buck decoupling.
