Do you really think he still thinks he won? If you're counting on him having that bad a performance in debates 2 and 3 then you'd better have something good to blackmail him with.

Since he couldn't view himself while performing in the debate, it's not very surprising. Most of the reason he's considered to have "lost" is because of how tired and disinterested he looked throughout it.

Well to be fair, Romney had never given any signs of being anything other than a fool before.  What the President forgot was his place in America - he maybe president, but he is still a black.  And Romney may just be an offensive, arrogant liar, but he's still white (and rich).

Americans of color everywhere will get the message from this white exodus to the Romney camp - race war.

He [Obama] is an arrogant man. We knew that already.

The stock market is one of those places that a "fool" and his money often part. Romney may very well have a series of flaws, but being a "fool" simply isn't one of them.

Again, this was Romney's best debate model. Obama should have the upper hand in the foreign policy debate and especially the town hall.

Oh please, BS.  He's an annointed one, he never 'did' something.

Are you seriously suggesting that the fact that his dad was a politician was the sole reason Bane Capital, and Mitt Romney made serious money? The evidence strongly suggests to me that Romney had a talent for stock speculation/finance. Whether that a plus, a negative or neutral in his race is separate question.

If a fool and his money are soon parted, Romney must be quite the opposite of a fool.

No, he got all his money because his father was rich, BS.  That is alwys why people get rich.

Mitt was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple.

Precisely!  He probably thinks he's a good debater or something now, when really he just got lucky to have the resources to keep running, election after election, untill he finally got a black man as an opponent.

For that I thank the late Ann Richards, the wit of the 1988 DNC and the kind of attack dog I still wish we had.

Mitt didn't keep a dime of inheritance.  The only 'privilege' he's had in his life is going to prestigious Universities -- Something he has in common with Obama.  Just except merit for what it is, don't try to pretend it doesn't exist.

What else would you expect from a Radical Marxist Muslim professor? This is the same person who thought that the democrats wouldn't lose seats in 2010 because HE was in office. Typical Obama/Osama arrogance and when he loses on November 6, he won't know what hit him.

It its a figment of your neoliberal delusion, AmNat.  As far as not 'keeping a dime of inheritance' - you'll believe anything apparently!

Even if this were true, it would be an utterly laughable defense of both the man and the ostensibly virtuous meritocracy that has produced him.

Now that I think about it I'm guessing that he probably got a tax deduction for giving it all away to charity/non-profit institutions.  I won't hold that against him.

As far as my imagination, he didn't need any money when his dad passed, so why wouldn't he give it away like he did?

Everything basically ended up in the George W. Romney Institute of Public Management at BYU.

The lefty politifact can't/won't even dispute this:

The overwhelming vast majority of people who are born in families with a networth of around 1-5 million or so do not accumulate $250 million. Regardless of your snide political opinions - both Romney and Obama are remarkable men.
