The Republican maps notwithstanding, this is why the Democrats won't be winning the House, IMO. They should be clearly favored in races like this.

When has a Republican ever won this district outside of 2010 Congressional in any race at all?

Arne Carlson in 1994. And even then it had to be close.

I'd say the most important number is Cravaack at 42%. For an incumbent, even a Republican, that's quite awful, for reference McCain won 44.5% here, that might be around what Romney's pulling, but Cravaack obviously isn't going to be able to win on coattails here. It might also prove that Nolan's running a pretty uninspiring campaign, but we know who has the better turnout machine here and where the voters are likely to break.


Minnesota's map was court-drawn, and the district barely changed at all.
