Ryan. Biden could have won if he wasn't so arrogant and such a bully...but then he wouldn't be Biden. Everything in my facebook newsfeed is about Biden being a bully or dick, including many liberal and independent friends. The policy won't matter coming out of this debate, just the fact that everyone will hate Biden's demeanor.

Isn't so much of a tie as people who will vote Obama will declare a Biden win, and people who won't vote Obama will declare a Ryan win.

That said, I thought Biden made a total fool of himself and Ryan looked pretty smart, calm, and collected. Since I would prefer the guy who looks smart in power, over the guy who keeps interrupting, laughing, and being stupid, I'd say Ryan won.

My "gut" reaction is this could be a Gore/Bush 1st debate scenario..

I think Biden won on the merits, he had his attack lines honed more effectively.  He was also an interrupting arrogant snarly prick who kept butting in.....

I wonder how "ordinary folks" will view this?

I am sure the media will declare Biden the winner, I also wonder what the polls will say...

I think Biden did better, but I also think it will be much more polarizing than the first one. On the first one pretty much everybody agreed Romney won. On this one Dems strongly feel that Biden one and Republicans will strongly feel Ryan won. I think swing voters will feel Biden won. Definitely a win for Biden given the expectations.

I have a feeling it will move the polls pretty little, though. VP debates tend to be less important than Presidential debates, and a lot of this debate was focused on issues that people care very little about (foreign policy being a big one).
