I wasn't born Canadian.  You do realize that countries with decent benefits aren't just going to welcome indigent miserables from the Bad Place right?  Vancouver would be packed to the gills with american refugees if it were easy to move there.

You keep implying this, but you wouldn't, in reality, have a very difficult time getting EU citizenship, for example.

Getting EU citizenship is a difficult, and it's probably a bad place especially since Thatcher and Frau Merkel.
