Suffolk University Poll .Obama 47 Romney 47. Have no idea who wins this one in the end, but shows why Ohio is a must-win state for Obama, since I think its quite possible he could lose Colorado as well.

A Suffolk New Hampshire poll on Oct 30 2008 a few days before 2008 election showed Obama 53. McCain 40. Final result was Obama 54. McCain 44.5

Romney needs to be camping out in Ohio.  The Cincinatti area is a logical target.  Its an area that Obama really overperformed in in 2008.

Obama is scheduled to visit New Hampshire on Thursday.  Dismiss this and other polls showing the state close at your own peril.  I doubt Obama would be going there if New Hampshire wasn't close.

I can certainly believe that New Hampshire is tied right now. Suffolk is an awful pollster though.

I acutally could see a scenerio where New Hampshire goes Romney while Obama still manages to keep Virginia.

I firmly believe that if Romney wins Ohio, he'll win the election. New Hampshire is just an added bonus.

He's having a hell of a time trying to do that though, isn't he?

If Obama somehow lost Ohio, but carried Virginia, he would still win Electoral college without either New Hampshire or Colorado so long as he kept Iowa, Neveda and Wisconsin. Not sure how likely it is for him to keep Virginia but lose Ohio, but still think Virignia may still be a slight lean Obama.

Their testament about VA, FL and NC show just how awful they are... while I don't know if this is accurate to the number, NH will be very very close.
