He didn't answer that question at all!!

He said (and I'm paraphrasing) "trust me, I'll make the economy good".

CNN Poll:

Who would better handle the economy?

Obama: 40%
Romney: 58%

Who would better handle health care?

Obama: 46%
Romney: 49%

Who would better handle taxes?

Romney: 51%
Obama: 44%

Who would better handle the deficit?

Romney: 59%
Obama: 36%

So is tonight a draw?

The audience was very R-friendly and probably still going to vote for Romney. Even they had to admit that Obama won though.

Indeed I did. It was kind of hilarious. The problem is though that the folks that vote for coal are going to choose to ignore that bit and go rah-rah for Mittens like always because of the usual stupid.

Couple of things:

1.) I didn't warch the debate. It seems that Obama has clearly won, though, and it's possibly a decisive blow...but let's wait and see.

2.) I read this entire thread, and I really only have one comment: BushOK's "analysis" is just unbearable.

Yeah, I love Bushie as much as anyone but he's incredibly annoying in these debate threads. He doesn't really even watch them and form his own opinions, he just goes by squiggly lines on CNN.

He's not the only one either. CNN should really get rid of those.

Hopefully this helps with my theory of Obama winning 1 or 2 of the Southwestern Pennsylvania counties (looking at Fayette and Greene).

When even the UMW won't endorse Obama this time, I wouldn't count on it.

Obama won this debate, there's really no question.  I do think the moderator was clearly biased against Romney, but I'm not so sure that helped Obama much at all.  Biased moderator or not, some of Romney's answers didn't make sense, and he handled himself as someone desperate to win...whereas Obama was clearly more in control of himself and the debate in general.

I am glad that Obama didn't act mindless and rude like his running mate did last week.  Obama's performance in the 2nd debate brought his ticket up in my eyes, where Biden's performance the week before just made them both look bad.
