Virginia Poll by Kimball Political Consulting
Romney 53.9%
Obama 43.2%
Undecided 2.9%

October 12-13; 696 Likely Voters; MoE 3.7%.

I've never heard of the pollster, but at least they have a website.

Kimball weighed the poll to Gallup's 2012 Virginia Party ID - 35R, 34D, 30I.  Full crosstabs are available at the link.  Romney leads in NoVa 49.8%-47.4%.

Doesn't change that they clearly have no idea what they're doing...

The poll was taken over the weekend and released to the press today.  It's really not that old.

Whether it is any good is a totally separate question.  FWIW, it doesn't appear to be anyone's internal.

That's why I said, "Not a name firm."  Smiley

IIRC they are a Massachusets Republican firm. They are the only ones that have found Brown leading Warren after the summer.

Not a particularly good pollster, but there were several polls that put Brown ahead after 9/1/12.  Kimball isn't on the Senate poll list.

Kimball is a Republican internal pollster for Scott Brown.

But this is a joke poll. VA is a toss-up.
