I try to stay under 1800 calories a day. There was a time where I was trying to stay under 1400-1500 but I would go to bed starving.

You gotta push through it, unless you have reason to believe it is serious and cause injury. If so, then consult a doctor.

It's probably just your body letting you know that it is not used to serious physical activity.
