Not a bad recipe, Snowguy.  I will definitely be trying a few recipes in December and especially after the first of the year.

Why after the 1st of the year, out of interest? Does it take that amount of time to get used to the foreign concept?

I'm going to start in December, but I guess you didn't read that.  I'm going to wait until January to get started full force so I can get the holidays behind me.

I'm not on a diet right now.  Even if I was, its wrong to diet on a HOLIDAY!!

Yes, nothing says 'celebration' like 'random impulse binge at cheap junk food chain despite having eaten vast quantities of food already.'

One alternative, of course, is to drop the pretence entirely. You are, officially at least, an adult. You can set your own priorities, if you want to. So long as you're aware of whatever any consequences might be and are prepared to live with them, your life is yours to lead. This absurdist halfway house does you no good, if it's even a slight reflection of your actual reality.
