IA sample is D+2

WI sample is D+5

If they are off, Party ID isn't why.

Sweet. Best news I've heard all day. I assume that the polling is mostly post-debate??

Considering NBC Marist, despite the criticism of others, is one of the few to understand the role of cell phones and how underpolling of cell users skews the results... I'm quite happy about this.

No, about half and half, and there was no difference.

It is still a uni poll.

Once again this confirms that Romney's only route is through OH, there is no getting around with with WI or IA+NV

@mmurraypolitics: In IA, 34% of likely voters in the poll say they have already cast their ballots, and Obama is winning those people, 67%-32%

Looking at early voting results, that is highly doubtful.

Lolz.

To get that number, roughly 80% of the independents and 100% of the D's would have to be voting for Obama.

About the early voting/Election Day voters crowd

I don't think Obama is winning 2:1 in early voting, but I also don't think Romney's winning by 15 points on Election Day

More like Obama's winning by 15 in the early vote right now (33%) and Romney is winning by about 3-4% with traditional Election Day voters

The poll is useless as it contains 34% who have already voted and unreal high favorabilities for Obama. Right direction/wrong track question is also way off.

The early voting is 19%, not 33%.
