I like Obama, but my hatred of that disgusting piece of slime is so great it trumps everything else.  If I were running against Romney, I'd still be voting against him, rather than for myself.

I've voting for Mittens because I like him. I like Obama too but I have no confidence in his ability to handle the economy.

You must be one of the few to really like Romney, even among his supporters.  I'll say this - I dislike him a bit less than I dislike Republicans in general or on average.

As for this economy stuff, I'm surprised a smart fellow like you thinks either of them can do anything about it.

Both: voting for Obama because I do like him, but for God's sakes, I do not want Romney / Ryan in the White House. It amazes me that Republican Presidents go away under a cloud never to be heard from again (and our public doesn't learn from electing them), and I can only imagine what Romney would go away looking like.

Well, Obama sure can’t. He’s proven that.
Time to give Mitt a chance.

Oh, I don't think they can, but I'm all for giving Mittens a chance. Tongue

If I vote at all, it will be third party. But really, I am not even that fond of the third parties.
My political views are a bit odd, and are not really represented well.

I guess you could say I am voting for third party as a vote against the two party system. Tongue

I'm an Independent and I'm voting for Romney because I like Romney....that's what I voted.

I think Romney will do a better job than Obama, since Obama already proved to us during his 4 years in office, especially his super majority from 2008-2010.

I like Obama, despite having major divergences with his views. I think he is a honest and good-willing man who has done his best to pull the country out of the mess caused by the previous administration. His biggest mistake was, actually, that he attempted to appeal and work with people whose sole intent was to make him a "one-term President". He was naive in this regard, and his naivety resulted in the inability to pass most of his agenda, and eventually caused the 2010 debacle. Still, it's hard to hate him for underestimating the horribleness of Republicans.

I also don't like Romney of course, even compared to a standard Republican. But that's superfluous.

On the other hand, it is true that my fear of a Romney presidency is much higher than my hope on an Obama presidency. But at this point, for the US, the lack of regression is a progress in itself...
