I know the election is a very, very tight race and could go either way very easily.  Do you think, though, that Barack and Michelle have a few things in boxes just in case they have to move out, or are they so confident they don't have anything packed, yet?  If they lose re-election on November 6, they will have 74 days until they have to be out.  Of course, if they win, they can unpack and put all the boxes back in the closet for 4 years.

He'd still be President for three and a half months.  I know you would need that much time to plan a move, but not everybody does.

It was reported they have packed a few small things such as the coffee pot, mini-fridge, various decorations and the basketball hoop but they are waiting for the results to come in before they pack the larger stuff

Where will they move to?
Where will the Obama children go to school?  I don't think they would pull them out in the middle of the school year. 

I wonder if they are looking at condos in Georgetown?  It takes at least 3 months to close on a place and take out a mortgage.  But someone could also rent them their house for political favors. 

Where is Hillary Clinton's DC condo?
