I like the presidential part of the poll, I don't like this part at all...

I think I'd almost rather have Romney and Brown win than vice versa.

We need to see other polling back this up before we decide that the race has changed.

Why? I know Mandel is terrible and Brown is supposedly a progressive hero but in the Senate they're relatively anonymous votes for their caucuses. Romney as president would obviously be much worse.

Well right, that's what I said "almost." But Brown losing this to Mandel of all people would be a pretty disgusting and heartbreaking result.

On Election Night, nothing will surprise me in this race. I just can't see Mandel outperforming Romney.

Has anything happened in the campaign that would cause such a shift? It doesn't seem to make sense to me.

Brown is a liberal, Obama isn't. Plus, some of us would like to see Brown run for President in 2016, even if he's destined to be the runner-up to Clinton or Cuomo.

Republican SuperPACs have been brutal to Brown in this senate race in particular. There has a slow but steady erosion throughout this year. Still, Brown is up by more than 1. Probably a 4-6 point race. Mandel still performs behind Romney in the end which means he is screwed

Obama is a president, Brown isn't.

And he can run a futile campaign for president whether he wins or not. He'll probably win anyway but I just don't understand this line of thinking. I'd give up more than just this Senate seat to keep Obama in the presidency over Romney, especially with the likely Supreme Court vacancies coming in the next 4 years. There are plenty of politicians I like more than Obama, but there's quite a big difference in the importance of their positions compared to his Smiley

Since even Rasmussen has Brown ahead by 4, I'd say this is a junk poll.

Which is again why the whole "almost" thing comes into play.
