Democrats should want there to be as much erosion here as possible. It means Romney's popular vote total is being inflated from states like this where the margin is a lot smaller than 08 but still safe for Obama

Considering that a Senator McMahon is a possibility, it'd be nice to have a rock solid Obama win here. I suspect that the race will look fairly close until Bridgeport gives us its standard issue dump and Murphy will gallop triumphantly into the setting sun.
