Glorious news indeed. They had Obama tied in their last poll back in 2008. They were the only pollster saying that then and they are the only one saying that now.

Obama wasnt the incumbent in 2008 and stood to gain a larger amount of the undecideds.

I hope to God this holds for another week.

LOL, sure Scott.

By the way, this poll has a one day sample? Is that the norm for Rasmussen polls? That might explain why they've been such total garbage the last couple of cycles.

All of his polls are one day samples.

One day sample: yes, Rasmussen's always show up on Huffington's aggregate as one-day samples.

Obama led in every final poll in 2008 except Rasmussen. Obama is curently leading in every poll except this new one by Rasmussen.

Probably. He has Obama leading among independents and leading the early vote 62-36.

Yeah, the only way Romney can be leading is if he is pulling some Democrats......which I highly doubt.

Except for the fact that a tied race suggests a Romney +1 or +2 historically in Ohio. An R+3 race nationally assumes even a bigger lead.

But we'll ignore that because it isn't convenient enough for the Obama narrative.

Of course he's pulling "some" Democrats. Obama is also pulling "some" Republicans. Like every election. Most polling indicates Romney is pulling more Democrats than Obama is Republicans.

Also keep in mind that Ohio is a R+1 state according to Cook's PVI. In a vaccum, the state should poll +1 to the Republicans of the national polls.

Except every other poll has Obama leading or at best tied for Romney.

When one poll sticks out, it is usually an outlier.....polling 101.

Just like you are ignoring the other polls that DO NOT show Romney leading in Ohio? It's clear that there is a disconnect between some state and national polls right now, but what we are seeing from Ohio is some consistency. Rasmussen hasn't had Romney up in the state for months and now all of the sudden he's up by two while losing independents? Get real and stop projecting.

These days, I merely need to see the letters "krazen," to know that there is good news awaiting in the package. It is just so convenient that way. Thanks!
