Oh man. Marist has O+6 in Ohio, 51-45. They have O+2 in FL, 49-47. Marist continues to have better polls for O than Democratic pollsters.

Ohio will vote for Barack Obama on Tues., that much is clear.

But now we have Florida shown between R+2 and O+2, and the historically fantastic Mason-Dixon with the race at Romney by 6.  But M-D is the only poster showing anything remotely close to this kind of result.  I'm gonna stick to my guns and say Obama BARELY wins Florida, but I have it as the closest state and if it goes to Romney I'm not gonna be too disappointed.

Wooohoooo, really like this poll.....early voting is really supporting your turnout narrative Cheesy

NumbersMuncher ‏@NumbersMuncher
Marist Ohio poll w/ O+6 is a D+9 poll. 2008 was D+5, 2004 was R+5. Marist has Dems almost doubling 2008 turnout advantage.

Ohio is certainly looking far better than I ever could have expected at the start of the year.

I'm also pleasantly surprised by Obama being up 2 in Florida. You can get whiplash from looking at all the wildly divergent Florida polls these days.

Different methodology than the exit poll.  On the high side for Obama, no doubt, but no more or less valuable than Ras or Mason-Dixon.

Marist has had Romney up in just 1 of 37 battleground polls. This isn't really a surprise to me.

You're seriously comparing Marist to MD?

Why would the WSJ associate themselves with this slop? NBC News aka MSNBC, I understand, but... WSJ is owned by News Corp.

I will be glad when these "this is a bad poll, no this is a bad poll!" arguments stop after Tuesday. God willing, I'll be alive when it happens.

At this point, would Romney winning Ohio be the biggest polling failure in the history of modern campaign polling? Certainly in the United States, at least.
