My primary polls have expired and we have:

Santorum/Allen (R)

vs.

Bayh/Warner (D)

What would happen? Who wins? Could Santorum unite the so-called RINOs? Will Bayh bring in the far left wing of his party?

That Dem ticket would probably mean a severe split on the left, more than likely meaning a 3rd party candidate with teeth.

Santorum/Allen would probably win, though they wouldn't in a pure 2-team match.

That would be a brutal race.  Those two matchups (bayh/warner and santorum/allen) are probably the strongest tickets that either side could put out.

It would be close because New Hampshire is economically centrist, but slightly libertarian socially.  Bayh's populism would hurt him there.

populism=liberalism? liberalism in US (left) or EU (right) sense?

Populism in my opinion is a man who want: to increase taxes on rich people (to decrease taxes for the rest), social security for all, death penalty for bastards, guns to protect his family,...
