I have yet to see a thread dedicated totally to posting final predictions (Tender seems to have one just for himself. Egomaniac Tongue). If there is one, don't kill me. Just bring it to my attention and I'll delete this.  Smiley

My prediction:

Obama/Biden - 294
Romney/Ryan - 244

National Popular Vote

Obama/Biden - 49%
Romney/Ryan - 48%
Others - 3%

Your map is the same as mine, but I expect Obama to do slightly better in the PV.

The loser will accuse the winner of rigging votes.

So Romney wins 277-261 but wins the popular vote by 3-5%?

Yea, Romney will rack up a lot of votes in the safe Republican states, plus do better then other Republicans in the safe Democratic Norteastern states. But Obama will do good in swing states to keep the EV close, but not the PV.

I don't know how to change the shades... I predict Obama will win 277-261 in the Electoral vote and Romney will win a narrow popular vote victory... something along the lines of 49.9% to 49.7%

Barack Obama: 51% PV, 332 EVs
Mitt Romney: 48% PV, 206 EVs

Sticking with it.  Changed Hawaii to high 60% for Obama.  Florida is going to be the closest state methinks, it could really go either way, but I'm starting to think the undecideds are breaking in a way similar to 2004.  If I get that one wrong I won't be too mad at myself.

This is my map, but Romney will only win North Carolina in the 40% range.

National PV:

Obama: 50.5%
Romney: 48.4%
Other: 1.1%

Closest state: CO

Don't know who will come out on top, but if Obama wins, I don't think he'll get over 281 EVs.

If Romeny wins, it will with more than 281 EVs most likely

National Popular Vote

Obama/Biden - 49%
Romney/Ryan - 48%
Others - 3%

Almost the same although I have it 290 Obama/Biden to 248 for Romney/Ryan.  My only differences are I have Obama winning Colorado while Romney winning Virginia although I am more confident in predicting those will be the two closest states over predicting who will win.  Popular vote, Both tied at 49% each.

Let's see if this scenario would come true.  R picks up FL, NC, VA, OH, and NH.  Rest go to D.  R & D splits EV, but R wins PV 49 to 48%, with 2% go to Libertarian.
