IT might tie if Akno votes Nay, States/Steven vote Aye.

In that case Andrew would have to break it (aye?)

I change my vote to abstain.

You would need to change it to yea, to help get this passed, and then get to not veto the FPA.

I will vote YEA on this, with the President's word that if I vote yea and it passes, he will allow the Family Planning Amendment to become law.

This is an excellent day for better energy, better standards, and better economics. I thank everyone who helped get this bill passed.

I hope people don't get egg on their face from celebrating too soon.  It is possible that a Senator could choose to change their vote as voting is still open and will be until either Steven Nick votes or until Friday and the vote is officially closed.  It is true that without avote change this bill passes, but such a change could still take place.

Anyone who calls themselves an environmentalist should be absolutely appalled at this.

Texasgurl, there are more pro-environment then anti-environment measures in this. Added to that is the fact that we won't get a veto on the FP Bill.

As it has been over seven days since the debating began the voting I assume has ended.

I, President John F. Kennedy gladly sign the Atlasia National Energy Act.

Bump, just in case it affects anyone's thinking on Nym90s bill to see what our past actions have been.

Thanks, John. I was not aware that SUVs already were classified as sedans. I still maintain that that provision of my bill is needed, though, as this legislation only changes the classification for SUVs, not for pickup trucks or any other under 10,000 pound vehicle that is not already classified as a car.

Likewise, I am glad to see that the CAFE is now up to 22.7 MPG. Thus, my bill should be changed to read 18 years, not 20 years. Smiley
